MR. HAROLD MENZE Principal Mr. Menze was born In St. Louis, Missouri and graduated from Affton High School there. He received his B. S. degree in 1946 from Northeast State Teachers College, Kirksville, Missouri. This Is Mr. Menze's tenth year at Salisbury. He Is sponsor of the student council and coach of the Basketball and track teams. IV, MRS. NANA FOSTER Commerce Mrs. Foster was bom In Prairie Hill, Missouri and graduated from high school there. She obtained her B.S. degree from both Central College and the University of Missouri. She senred foix years with the W.A.C. She ls'now doing Post-graduate work at the Uni- versity of Colorado. This is Mrs. Foster's third year at Salisbury. She Is sponsor of the Sophomore class and the F. B. L. A. Local Chapter. MRS. URE DICE GOETZ Mathematics and General Science Mrs. Goetz was born in Clitton Hill, Missouri and attended Kirksville Teachers College and had some additional work in Pittsburg, Kansas. This Is Mrs. Goetz's eleventh year at Salisbury as a teacher of General Science and Mathe- matics. She Is a sponsor of the Sopho- more class. MRS. JAMES ADAMS English and Speech Mrs. Adams was born at Sumner, Missouri. She graduated from Hale High School, Hale, Missouri. She attended two years at William Jewel and received her A. B. degree from Tarklo College. She has taught for fifteen years in Missouri before coming here and Is a member of the Delta Kappa Gamma. This is her first year at Salisbury, she Is a sponsor of the Freshman Class and the Dramatics Club. Our MR. LAWRENCE MULLEN Agriculture Mr. Mullen Is our vocational agriculture teacher. He was born in Steelvllle, Missouri and attended the University of Missouri. In 1955 he received his M.S. In Ed. from that school. He also attended Superior State Teachers College at Superior, Wisconsin. He is one of the Junior Class sponsors and the advisor of F. F. A. MISS PHILUS PHILUPS Band and Chorus Miss Phillips was born in Stanberry, Missouri where she graduated from High School. She received her B.S. degree from Missouri University In 1952. This is her third year at Sallsbwy. She is one of the Sophomore Class sponsors and a sponsor of the Pep Squad.

Faculty MR. DON AMELON Drivers Education Instructor and Industrial Art Mr. Amelon was born In Seymour, Missouri and graduated from the High School at Centralia, Missouri. He received his M. Ed. degree from the University of Missouri. Mr. Amelon has been at the Salisbury High School for three years. He Is one of the Senior sponsors. MRS. DOROTHY McCLOUD School Secretary Mrs. McCloud was bcm in Keytesville, Missoni but graduated from high school at Salisbury. This Is Dorothy’s second year at the high school. MRS. WM. H. LEE Librarian and Art Mrs. Lee was bcm north of Clifton Hill, Missouri. She graduated from Thomas Hill High School. She received her B. S. degree from Klrksvllle State Teachers College and did additional work at the University of Kansas, Utah, and Arkan- sas. Nfrs. Lee taught at the Clifton Hill High School far three years before coming to Salisbury. This Is her third year here at the Salisbury High School. She Is one of the Student Council Sponsors. MRS. MARTHA ANN ROLING Home Economics Mrs. Roling was born in Fayette, Mis- souri and graduated from high school at Macon. She attended Northwest State Teachers College and Iowa State College at Ames, Iowa. She received her B.S. degree from Missouri University. This Is Kfrs. Roling's fourth year at Salisbury. She Is a sponsor of the Freshman class and F. H. A. advisor. MR. MELVIN MEYR Economics, History, Citizenship Mr. Meyr was born in New Wells, Missouri. He received his B. S. Ed. at Cape Girardeau State Teachers College. This is Mr. Meyr’s fifth year at Salisbury as teacher of Economics, American History, Citizenship, American Government, Sociology, Geography, and World History. He Is also a sponsor of the Senior Class and the Pep Squad. MRS. JOHN RUFFNER Chemistry and Biology Mrs. Ruffner was bom In Walnut Ridge, Arkansas and graduated from the Couch High School in Missoni. She attended Southwest Missouri State Teachers College, Springfield, Missouri. She then attended the University of Colorado, Boulder, Colorado vhere she graduated with a B. S. degree In Pharmacy. She taught one year at a rural school before she came here. This Is Mrs. Ruffner's second year at Salisbury High School. 7
