'Let's keep the show on the road,' might have been the motto for the i957-i958 Student Council. Under the leadership of a very efficient corps of officers, the Stuco aggregation was a busy group. Beside the ordinary duties of assisting with the school functions, the Council provided the student body with directories, decorated goal posts for foot- ball games, helped with class elections, provided for a needy family for Christmas, sent representa- tives to two district meetings and assisted with many visiting delegations by acting as guides. The Council provided an attractive assembly program during the year, kept the new bulletin board up to date and voted to assist with financing a new score board for the football stadium. All homecoming activities were handled by the Student Council along with the band and cheer- leaders. ln addition to all these activities the Council sponsored the concession stands and assisted with the finances of all three classes.
