“The F.F.A., a very active orfanization consisting of twen- ty-three members,began its activities for the year by hold- ing its Father-and-Son Banquet. The F.F.A. invited the F.H.A. girls to a roller skating party at Montrose. Judging teams were sent to Marion for a weed and tpoultry contest, and Sioux Jity for a livestock Judging Contest. Nine boys attended the State Judrinf Contest at Brookings on ipril 20-22. After the monthly meetinas lunch was served and the boys played basketball. The members include Milton Anderson, LeRoi Danielson, Charles Gough, Kenneth Marquardt, Philemon Melin, Howard Hil- ler, Philip Raue, Roland Triebwasser, Lean Kirby,Lowell Keep- sell, David Nelson, Jerne Taldner, Eddie siebe, Delmer Duerk- sen, Robert Nelson, Jernon Pearson, Donald Duerksen, Donald Timmerman, Orville Triebwasser, Myron Tuschen, Wayne Weld, Nartin Wells, Johnny Wiebe. ' Many activities UI GM carried on by the 1F.HQA,L includ- ing: the annual Christmas party, Daddy Date Night, and Spring Style Show. The Homemaking III class presented to the Study Club a panel discussion on nYouth, its problems and questionsn. At the Christmas party gifts were exchanged,,games played and a delightful lunch was served. Daddy Date Night, a new feature in our program, was very successful. The girls invited their nDaddysn as their dates, played games, sang songs, and also served' a lunch. We hope this can be repeated next year: Many new fashions were shown at the Spring Style Show and Tea. The girls modeled the clothing they nade in Home Economics for the mothers and friends in attendance. The members of the F.H.A. include: Eleanor Hollestelle, Eleanora Hanson, Jean Schimmel, Carol Streff, Ardith Chase, Lujeanne Larson, Logene Streff, Martha Matthaei, Carole Rief, Donnette Osterberg,, Patrica Graham, Phyllis Peterson, Mary Lou Fluegel, Joan Koepsel, Vivian Dewey, Irene JGoIdammer, Carol Knudson, Twila Wobig, Donna Erickson, Eleanor Grapes, Marjorie Schneider, Donnette Gizewski, Joan Kuyper, 1Manceil Peterson, Jean Anderson, Shirley Schneider, Edna Kooistra, Delma Ualdner, Janet Jorgensen, and Doris Larson. 18
