Twenty two members have reached the heights of 'thigh school education in the chambers of Salem High School. V Our class will always have the memories of busy and enjoyable days that have beeng It was in these portals that we have acquired our qreater scope of intellijence and human under- standing Let's review the years of our high school days, In IQMB our class began its upward climb with 21 green freshman, During that year Johnny Wiebe joined us, This year we gained new acquaintances and fitted ourselves for the fol- lowing three imoortant years. Many activities scattered along our oaths as freshmen, gave us a wider understanding of high school days. The sophomore year started out with the addition of three new members: Donna Anderson, Logene Streff and Myron Tuschen, But still as underclassmen we looked toward higher goals as upper classmen. During the course of the year Wanda Schnose was a member of our class for a few short months. Donald Duerksen also joined us in the middle of the sophomore year. Donna Anderson and June Anderson left after their sophomore years, New we started our interesting and enjoyable junior year Twila Wobig joined us in the beginning of this year. ' To begin this year's activities we as juniors presented HThe Boarding House Reach,n a three act comedy, It was after these episodes of play practise each night, that we as a class became better acquainted. ' After the other events of the year were over, we racked our brains for ideas to please the seniors for the annual Junior-Senior Banquet, Finally an idea was struck upon and we decorated the band room to fit our theme, nhappy Holidaysn Minds and eyes were now turned anxiously toward the senior year. Upon entering our senior year as high and mighty intel- lects we regret to say Jerry Capon had left our fair class to attend school in California. Time caught up and began press- ing us foryrrd iz our final journey through the Lnlls of salem Bill school, -vents hurried niet us and before we roelifed it the fiiish of nur senior rear and crest ue on us. Three weeks before school was out we presented nStranger in the Night,n a three act mystery comedy. Hard work and determination have led us to our goal and now we will no longer be able to claim these halls as home. WILL Twila Wobig wills her ability to play the vibraharp to Dean Lockwood, ' Donald Duerksen wills his shoulders to Richard Byrd, Vivian Dewey wills her ability to act silly to Joan Koqpsell, Lujeanne Larson wills her room at L, P.'s to Donna'Eriokson, Donald Timmerman wills his height to Howard Miller, continued on Page 1D f o
