Various Activities for Class of I9 O Requirements tor seniors in Salem High include senior English, physical education, and American problems, with two electives. A total ot nineteen credits is necessary for graduation. The class council, composed of representatives from each home room, has planned all the activities tor the class ot '50. Included among these this year were the senior dinner held before the Thanksgiving Festival and a tull-length movie, You're My Everything, presented to the entire student body. With a grade point average well above the usual, class members have become eligible in nationwide competition for numerous scholarships. Other talented seniors in music and athletics have placed high in local and state contests.
