Industrial Arts Develop Vocational Skills Opening a new field was the first semester graphic arts course in typesetting, letter- press printing, silk screen printing, bookbinding, and photography. Advanced cours- es will offer more difficult problems in imposition, lock- up and power press work, plate making and photo en- graving. New equipment includes two power and two hand- lever presses, a proof press, type cabinets, imposing stone, paper cutter, and type valued at three thousand dollars. Boys taking vocational agri- culture learn the scientific way to farm. Through student- owned farm livestock and crop proiects, they learn practical problems of farming, and in the school farm shop students make needed equipment. The Future Farmers of America gives its members greater op- portunities through contest work, demonstrations, and ex- hibition of proiects.
