I hope, as you hope, that it has captured and portrays to those who read it the spirit of Salem High School. A school is no finer than the compos- ite of all its undertakings and accomplish- ments. Its spirit reflects the enthusiasm, the effort, the give and take, and the devotion of the students and staff as they work together to achieve. Certainly Salem High School has had a fine year and you ,av have a right to be proud. Mrs. David Wright: first elected in 1922, present term expires 1951, Chairman of Buildings and Grounds, Health Committees, Mrs. Wright is a housewife. Mr, Donald A. Young: first elected in 1939, present term expires 1949, Chairman of the board, Mr. Young is an attorney at law.
