Sending packages to families in France and French North Africa, presenting a free movie, and holding an initiation banquet vvere all activi- ties of the French club. Cooperating with Cres- cendo club, the group presented the Gay Nine- ties skit in the Civics Carnival and shared the honor of winning first place for the production. Que Dice, which means What do you say in Spanish, presented Paul Geddes of the Oregon Page 28 State Legislature at a meeting open to all students. Representative Geddes spoke on highlights of the current session and the responsibility of the people of a democracy. With money earned from selling candy the Latin club is adding to funds that eventually vvill purchase a gift for the school. Spanish club programs have included guest speakers, movies, and a quiz show.
