Commerce J .-av AQ -it Ujice Training Salem High students interested in commercial work are fortunate in having access to some of the most modern equipment to be found in Oregon schools. Salem is one of a few schools to have a soundscriber which dictators use to record their voices on discs. Transcribing is made much easier with the aid of a transcriber, another new addition to the department. Last spring a retail selling store was installed to give students experience in retailing or service occupa- tions Salem is one of two schools in Oregon to have a store of this kind. This course is open to both boys and girls.
