A S B Ojicers . . A S B Council The ASB officers of l943-44 did much to stimulate the students' interest in the War effort. With this thought uppermost in their minds they pledged Sl5,UUO to buy a trainer plane President Travis Cross and his fellow officers deserve a considerable amount of the credit that Salem high received for oversubscribing their quota. Although the war effort was the chief interest, under the leadership of Nancy Montgomery the students of Salem high had a full social calendar and succeeded in making the year a memorable one for the boys who t were joining our armed forces.
