During this time students receive instruction in the use of their individual instruments. Miss Charlotte Holt B.M.; M.A.; Harmony, Theory, Voice, Director Vocal Music; Southern Illinois University, Bush Conservatory, Northwestern University, Columbia University; Madrigal Singers, Mixed Chorus, Boys' Chorus, Girls' Chorus. 24 MUSIC Miss Charlotte Holt directs different choral groups, including glee club, chorus, and madrigals. During the year these groups per- form at many concerts and par- ticipate in various contests. In years past, they have won many honors in singing.
