 When time who steals our years away Shall steal our pleasures too. The mem'ry of the past will stay And half our joys renew. Moore In presenting this year's Salemarion, we, the staff, have endeavored to catch a few fleeting glimpses of the relatively short school year and arrange them into memorable form. We sincferely hope that when you read this book, it will mean more to you than simply a photographic coverage of the year's events; that it will renew and instill in you those memories which are so dear to the students of S.C.H.S. — memories of the friendships so precious and meaningful, of the social events which helped to liven the daily routine of study, of the goals attained through good hard work; and memories of the teachers, whose primary interest is to provide a well-rounded education for the student. It is our desire that you cherish these memories and honor the S.C.H.S. spirit perpetuated by them — the spirit of high ideals, of democratic principles, and of a rich and full education. With this intention we present the 1966 Salemarion.
