LIBRARY Our library, seating 128 students, provides a center in which to read for pleasure or for fact-finding. It is equipped with many valuable sets of books, the latest magazines, and various types of other reference material which are useful to the student. Besides being beautiful and spacious, the library sup- plies an atmosphere which is conducive for study. It is in use during regular class periods and is also open before school and at noon for the advantage of the students. Miss Genevieve Hayes, our librarian, is always willing to help the students in their use of library facilities. GUIDANCE Salem students are fortunate in having an expert guid- counsels with students throughout their four years.
