UA gang provides many vital services aboard Saipan. The cooking steam, heating, air conditioning, hot water, and refrigeration all come from A gang. During amphibious operations HA gang operates the ballast system and even provides boat engineers for the landing craft. The machine shop, another UA gang responsibility, manufactures needed repair parts. The Hydraulics Shop maintains and operates the two aircraft elevators that are always manned during flight operations. The Steam and Heat Shop provide the chilled water reauired for cooling the electronic gear. A gang is involved in all of Saipan's operations. We do it all!
