In view of the fact that our class will be the last to graduate from this present site the staff of the 7959 SCROLL thought it most fitting to honor the almost twenty five hundred girls who have gone before by making them the subject of this dedica tion The decision was the nucleus that brought forth these fruits of research from the sole graduate of 7873 to one hundred forty two by 7905 when the Academy changed residence from the original location on Cherry Street to Collingwood Boulevard The Class of 7906 the first to graduate from the present build ing was then succeeded by fifty three classes including the Class of 7959 Paging through this silhouette you will see that Ursula Academy You will see that we are being trained as were you in true Christian citizenship to recognize God as the cornerstone of American democracy We have learned here as citizens of two worlds that faith in God and loyalty to our countrys laws go hand in hand In dedicating this book to its eighty six sister classes the Class of 7959 feels it is becoming a part of the past in passing on the tradition of an academic training which serves this function and reaches into Eternity time has made no difference in the basic philosophy of St. . fha! others have frail . .
