Each campaign man- ager tried hard with their buttons, poster slogans, and skits to sway the votes of the students. Sr wx 'ef S imis ,ti fi L Tuesday was Sweatshirt Day when everyone got in the spirit of Homecoming. Our slogan, Lick the Lancers , could be seen everywhere on everyone. Sweatshirts of every size and color filled the day with the excitement of homecoming. Wednesday brought a real treat, 'hot food' for lunch. It was Phoo-Ye Day and everyone enjoyed eating their Chow mein with chopsticks . . 6

Junior Prince nominees: Loren Odenwaldg Pete Lange: and Daryl Johnson . Initiated this year, was the custom of Freshman beanies. These green and gold Beacon Beanies were to be worn all through homecoming week. The wearer of the beanie was required to be a 'slave' of the upper- classmen. We can be assured that next year the Freshman class of'65 will willingly endow the honorable custom to next years' Freshmen. If I've told you once, I've told you a thousand times. . . DON'T GOBBLE YOUR FOOD! ! Act- ually, what he means to say is that the banquet, sponsored by the Sophomore class, was a big success. The alumni enjoyed the pre-Coronation dinner, and the festivities that took place later in the evening.
