X A f Success comes from strength - both physical and mental. And St. Mary 's students are encouraged to build up their minds along with their bodies. Granted, physical workouts help us look good. But, along with toning our physiques, comes the need to tone our minds. When we build our minds, we build our futures. The future awaits us eagerly, and we have begun to shape it. At St. Mary's our opportunities are limitless. A strong mind, complimented by a healthy body, enables us to take full advantage of what we have. St. Mary 's means great tradition in academics as well as athletics. 1. Poetry in motion. fMike Cortwrightj. 2. Knights reaching for the sky!! 3. Keep your eye on the target, IJohn Cruzj. 4. A Knight o Remember Homecoming is the most important event during the fall. The meaning be- hind it is really what makes the evening special. St. Mary's always has a large amount of alumni at football games, but Homecoming brings old friends together for a night of reminiscing. As usual, there was a large crowd in attendance for the game. At half-time, Wendi Gray was crowned Queen, and Michael Richmond was later crowned King during the dance. Homecoming did not have the typical floats and convertibles to escort the can- didates this year. Yet, it still had that spe- cial spirit which created an unique atmo- sphere for the returning alumni. f'5, X4 Q 4 ,mm .X 'Y -W .ae Quill' 'iff Tx Z W 'V t I 1.
