Glancing back at our unforgetable years at St. lVlary's, we have found them bursting with memoriesg a few of them sad, but most of them happy, fun-filled events. ln the course of these experiences we mature, broadening our perspectives on life. Usually this change can be seen by comparing the bewildered freshman to the confident senior .... It seems sophomores are less strained than freshman with their friends and teachers. Yet they often become restless, being caught up in a period of progression between upper-classmen, and the lowliest freshman ....

. . . .As juniors, graver responsibilities are assumed, such as sponsoring the junior prom or attempting the PSAT test. Seniors are a rare breed compared to the other students. They seem glad to be leaving the well-worn niches at St. lVlary'sp yet these same students are reluctant to leave friends and teachers they've known so well .... . . . .However, in spite of age difference among our students, there is present a warmth and closeness, unifying all of us together. Yet the cycle continues: Freshmen eventually become Seniors, as Seniors leave only to start the long climb forward to their personal goals.
