PEP RALLY On Friday aftemoon, before all the big games, the entire student body assembled in the rear court and shook the halls of the Rock with their built up activity at the big pep rallies. Vigorously led by Mr. Brown and the cheerleaders, the students were inspired by Father Sheehy, Father Verdieck, and the coaches, jazzed by the pep band, and exhorted by the flowing oratory of various members of the team. Some took over the senior smoker to test their skill at pool and ping-pong, while others played basketball and volleyball in the gyms. Later on, as throats began to get dry and bodies began to get weary, the frosh assembled in the school building for refreshments and movies. More pool and sports followed as the affair gradually died away to fond memories of Fun Night.
