Dear Regis Graduate of 1957, Only a few short years ago you came to Regis for your high school education. Now you have completed that stage of your education and are prepared to face the future as a Catholic working- man or as a college student. We, the faculty of Regis High, are interested in your future just as we were interested in your high school education. In particular, we want to watch you grow, in the future, into the thoroughly Christian men you are even naw beginning to be. Yes, we are interested primarily in seeing you become men and men of principle. The founder of the Society of Jesus, St. Ignatius, was a soldier, so it is not surprising that his Jesuit sons are eager to turn out men who are willing to fight for their faith. No matter what your future profession or position, each of you has the same ultimate job: to save your soul. For the vocation you choose is nothing but the way you choose to get to God and the way you think best of bringing others to heaven with you. And your success in life will be in proportion to your success in this iob. Whether or not you become very wealthy or successful in the eyes of the world will not matter much. But the salvation or loss'of your soul and that of your neigh- bor matters forthe rest of eternity. We, the Regis High School faculty, pray that the right kind of success will be yours. We have always been proud of our alumni, and we know we will be proud of you, too. You will always be remembered in our prayers, and we hope that you will remember us as well. Sincerely in Christ, We 4 PRESIDENT S MESSAGE

lu J Because of her kindness and generosity to all the faculty and students, because of her motherly interest in each student and encouragement for everyone, because of her unseen and unsung la- bors in the high school office for us, and because of her helpfulness while we are here and re- membrance of us after we leave, we, the students of Regis High School, dedicate the 1957 RAIDER with affection to Mrs. J.
