Joining the long line of Graduates Long before we joined the ranks of alumni, our Class of 1987 had developed a reputation for being challenging and outspoken people. Our teachers and school staff taught us to say clearly what we think, and we often did. As a result, we of- ten argued with each other, but when it came to the critical times, our class showed that it could lead the whole student body into forging a surprising unity. A lot of our teachers seem proud of us for learning to be so articulate, even though it has made us more difficult to live with, and they have encouraged us to be influential in every community we belong to in the future. These teachers and staff members have helped us to ,see visions and dream dreams of what we can become between now and that Last and Final Graduation!
