Ah ' 't u.s.N0.l The most successful dance of the school year was the Sadie Hawkins Dance. The music was taped by the Student Council who were also responsible for the decora- tions. The setting of the dance was in Dogpatch and the couples appeared in costumes to suit the occasion. 1, f 3 N King Manuel Ortega and Queen Antoinette Stenzel dance the coronation waltz. Each year the Valentine's dance is spon- sored by the Sophomore class. This year, the music was provided by the Ellis God- dard's band. Decorations of red and white directed everyone's attention to the throne where the king and queen would be crowned. The throne, in ac- cordance with the theme, was a swing decked with flowers. The King and Queen of Hearts stand with their court.
