ome tumble with us. trength, depth, high quality, superior moves, extremely talented. These are words that Miss Martin used to describe this years Sahuaro Cougars Girls' Gym- nastics team. Miss Martin felt that her team was the most talented team in their di- vision. Possessing these qualities. the team had a winning season. The highlight of the season was participating in the Tucson Police Department's Barry Headricks Tournament. Although the team is all around tal- ented, some of the best events were the uneven parallel bars and the floor exercises. Netters climb towards the top. n what sport would you say you get a great tan? Tennis of course! But that's not all there is to it. Tennis requires a lot of hard work that is hardly ever rewarded. The Sahuaro Cougar girls tennis team could be found out on the courts Monday, Wednesday. and Friday hitting and serving. The netters had matches every Tues- day and Thursday. Their practices lasted for about two hours and con- sisted of warm-ups. drills and chal- lenge matches in order to see who would play in the matches that week.
