It re- quired talented players and expert coaching from .lack Lehmkuhl to make this year's team a great one. Practices began right after tryouts in February and continued through the hot months of May. The twenty team members worked out four ex- hausting hours six days a week. This year the .l. V. team was con- fronted with a grueling nineteen- game schedule. The team excelled in all aspects of the game. The in- field players did exceptionally well.
