. , 0 . V stays stron his year's J. V. squad was mainly sophomore dominated. Coach Stan didn 't ha ve any major goals for the team this year other than to de- velope players for the varsity and to have everyone play as a team. The squad had a successful year and had no problem living up to the repu- tation of last year's team. Coach Stan thought that they had a very good chance of going undefeated for the season. The toughest teams they had All photos by Mariellen Kulik to compete against were Sunnyside and Catalina. The team 's running game was strong because of many quick and agile play- ers. Some of the more recognizable players were Cole, Burton. Sabia. Bambauer, Dominguez, McCord, Fowler, Wiebers, and Thomas.
