eptember was a busy month. Besides the usual back to school activities, Sahuaro stu- dents had many things to keep their attention. Friday night foot- ball games were always a popular activity. Organization fund rais- ers were common in both Septem- ber and October, when things from class buttons to bagles were sold. O00 STUDENT LIFE The month of October was high- lighted with slave day. Besides bringing plenty of extra smiles to the campus. this junior class fund raiser brought in a good deal of money. October was also the month of the Powder Puff football game, which was won by the sen- ior girls. C The male cheerleaders added their special touch to the event. 1 SX ' All photos by B. Spencer W - soifiomait NOMHNEF. Not only did 5'ahuaro's volleyball team take first in state in Novem- ber, but also in November, band received a superior rating at U of A band day. November was the month that concert choir held their successful musical Guys 5 Dolls . Homecoming was held in November. The football team played a great game and tied Am- phi 34-34.

A record breaking bid for 5105 lover last year, record-breaker S65j, for STUDENT LIFE 000 U Mark Monacell, Chad Strickland, Eric Mickelson, and Larry Corani- can, hehwed raise this years nearly S602 On Monday, October ll approxi- mately l50 students came to school dressed from babies to hit-men, and from punkrockers to flower children. Slave Day continues to be an off beat and fun way to heb: raise money for the Jr. class and to get the students back into the swing of school.
