Smith Being on the. . eing on the counseling and guidance staff of a high school is not an easy task, but this year's staff made the most of it by keeping up with the many transfers. drops and gen- eral problems. Job and career in- formation were also part of their daily agenda. Teachers aides played a very im- portant part in the teachers school day. They could be seen running around the halls. hands full of dittos, quizzes, and tests. Without them. teachers would be in more of a panic than ever. In 82-83. Sahuaro had many spe- cial students to accomodate. As their number increased. so did the number of Adaptive Ed. teachers. Among them were note takers, social workers and interpreters. Overall. these four groups did more than the stu- dents could ever appreciate. I. Doug McCoy jokes around with stu- dent. 2. Muriel Carlton shows us her smile. OOO CAREER GUIDANCEXCOUNSEL ORS! This is a familiar phrase heard by students who use our school library. The library pro- vided information to students for reports. termpapers and essays. Audial and Visual Center provided film projectors. tape recorders and enlargements. The Resource Cen- ter found in the basement also hehwed students to obtain informa- tion. The bookstore was the best place to go to get most school supplies at a reasonable price. Cooking and serving us food is mainly what the cafeteria person- nel do for us. After this is done. they clean up and get everything ready for the next day. Janitors also play a big part in keeping the cafeteria clean as well as the cam- pus itself The janitors are taken for granted on the nice job that they do. I.
