Jazzy music appeals to the Stage Band tage Band is fun, but it also means practice until you get it right. The members in Stage Band found that out. It took a lot of hard work and time. but it de- finately paid off. The Stage Band participated in the NAU Jazz Band Festival They were one of four bands selected for the Hon- or's Concert, in which they re- ceived a Superior rating. The Stage Band participated in many fundraising events. They sold candy with the marching band, held a Car Wash A-Thon, Soda-pop sale, and had a raffle at Gemco, which the entire band participated in. Talent skill and teamwork Ash. Rusty Schultz is the vice presi- dent, and Renee De La Fuente is the secretary. The Thespian Society's first pro- duction was Time Out for Ginger. Other productions will be Vacancy in Paradise, All My Sons. and Patch- work in the Spring. The Stage Crew is also an impor- tant part of the Drama department. It 's up to them to provide effective props and intricate lighting and sound effects as well as the curtain when needed. The requirements are simple, good grades and an interest in the activ- ity.
