Pep squad is a boost of energy. romoting school spirit with en- ergy and enthusiasm is hard ork, but our pep squad did just hat this yearl The pep squad orked as a wonderful support group for athletic activities. With their interjecting cheers they got everyone involved. All of Sahuaro's pep squad had secret brothers. It helped the pep squad and the athletes keep a unit- ed identity. They also had secret sisters among themselves, which was lots of fun. Mrs. Handler, in charge of Sa- huaro's pep squad, enjoyed work- ing with the girls. She liked listen- ing to them and thought they were good sincere people. It also made her realize how important sports are for high school students. Songleaders, Varsity and Jr. Varsi- ty Cheerleaders put in alot of work, hard effort, and time which was very tiring, but I 'm sure they all feel it was very much worth it.
