With their interjecting cheers they got everyone involved. All of Sahuaro's pep squad had secret brothers. It helped the pep squad and the athletes keep a unit- ed identity. They also had secret sisters among themselves, which was lots of fun. Mrs. Handler, in charge of Sa- huaro's pep squad, enjoyed work- ing with the girls. She liked listen- ing to them and thought they were good sincere people. It also made her realize how important sports are for high school students. Songleaders, Varsity and Jr. Varsi- ty Cheerleaders put in alot of work, hard effort, and time which was very tiring, but I 'm sure they all feel it was very much worth it.
