' ff V 1 5 1- i The Stage Band Happening. - can -1 fr SHS's band has a lot on the ball for them if they can just figure out how to use it. The band performed at the home football games, went to Green Valley to march and play on Veterans Day, Memorial Day, and their fair day, gave a Christmas and Spring concert with the chorus went to Band Day at the U. of A. , and marched in the Rodeo Parade. The band also sold candy at Christmas time for the band scholarship and camp fund. The stage band played at some of the basketball games and the Spring concert. CHORUS IS SMALL BUT IT'S GROWIN Are they reading music or, I wonder. . . ? Wonder if they're listening or sleeping. Mr. Webb encourages listeners to sing along. The Chorus performed at the Christmas and Spring Concerts, raised money selling candy, went to a Chorus Clinic, and some were brave enough to try out at the Chorus All-state. Lenny Minutillo made all-state, the first one from Sahuarita. ssiygg 4 M Sharon Worrell and Debbie Baker were the pianists for prac- s'il tice.
