The games were, nevertheless, exciting and full of action. There were times when members of both our team and those of our opponents became a little aggressive, resulting in interference from the refs and coaches. Having a weak start, the Mustangs continued with a run of bad luck. Halftime proved to be the turning point in many of the games. No matter how much of a lead the Mustangs had before halftime, they managed to fall behind during the second half. Perhaps next year will be Sahuarita's year in basketball. The returning varsity team members and the J,V. members who have advanced to Varsity will have more experience which can only improve their season.
