VARSITY BASKETBALL Mr. Udell, Ronnie Serr, Rickey Stephenson, Octaviano Lerma, Ed Berry, George Ahumada, Rick Karasch Hector Alvarez, James Toliver, Fred Depper, Frank Miller, Ernie Trujillo. IM! Our 1967-68 basketball team made its debut in Class B competition. In spite of some disappointing games, the team displayed a lot of hustle and sportsmanship in the entire season. james Toliver and Rick Karasch received recognition for their outstand- ing play by making Class B Second team and Honorable Mention respectively. The Varsity team was coached by Don Udell, While Archie Romney coached the j'.V. and Freshman teams. 66

The team showed a lot of skill and sportsmanship as they faced new competition. The coaches, Mr. Don Udell and Mr. Barry Callaway, were as enthusiastic about the season as the boys themselves. Congratulations to two of the boys, V. L. Mosley and George Ahumada, who made 2nd Team and Honorable Mention respectively.
