Young Wrestlers Gam Experience VARSITY WRESTLING - FRONT Rodney Knicley, Iohn Wilson, Stuart Guild, Scott Carpenter, Dave Vos- trejs. BACK Eric Button, Pat Betrum, Steve Curtis, Ber- nie Lowitz, Darrell Hual. The 1980-81 Saguaro wrestling team had a rebuilding year. Coaches Ken Hawk and Bob Ienkins said they were very young and inexperienced. This year we are mostly rebuild- ing our team with sophomores and freshmen, said Bob Ienkins. The team consisted of several jun- iors and one senior. The Sabercats had a good year considering their age and experience. Girls Shoot for Experience The girls' basketball team worked very hard for their position in the league. Most of the girls lifted weights to improve their strength and jumping ability. Although physical strength was important, varsity Coach Dennis Price said, This year one of our stronger qualities is experience. Second year varsity players included Susan Almadova, Cheri Messer, Michelle Estill and Lisa Debruycker for a total of eight seniors.
