Foreign language is a great asset in the modern world. There are so many job opportunities for people speaking foreign tongues including teaching the language to people who speak that language, diplomatic work, and social work with noneEnglish speaking people, Also, learning foreign languages gives one a better understanding of other countries and their literature and is helpful in understanding English grammar.
