Dedication Two roads diverged into a wood, and I - I took the one less uaveled by , And that has made all the difference . . . ' These memorable words written by Robert Frost describe the life of someone we will alway remember Perhaps now it is hard for us to imagine that Sister Virginia Marie, our principal, was ever a student at Sacred Heart Of Mary High School. However, she fondly recalls her senior year when die was a pan of the very first graduating class at S.H.M. Like all of us, she had a difficult decision to make in her senior year. She chose the road Less uaveled by which to her and to all of who knew her has made all the difference. Completing her high school education, she went into the novitiate to become a member of the Religious of Sacred Heart of Mary, a new road of life to her, but one she carefully selected. With her final vows , she dedicated her life to one of love , charity , unselfishness and service . Thus , her family grew from the immediate family of father, mother, brothers and sisters into the largest family of all - the family of God . As the years passed, Sister Virginia Marie adopted a particular family - a special family indeed - the students, faculty and staff at Sacred Heart of Mary High School. For eleven years, she has been a teacher, adminisuator and counselor. In these years, she has given niuch of her life to us and has in some way influenced all of us. Her patience, gentleness and kindness have brought the religious and the lay faculty closer together. Her wisdom and love have guided the students, helping to make them spirited and strong a student body of which we are all proud. Perhaps all of us do not now realize how deeply this wise and kind woman has influenced our lives. As the years pass , however , we too will look fondly at our years at S . H . M . to remember more than anyone else - Sister Virginia Marie. It is fitting that we dedicate the long hours of love and labor put into our 1974-1975 issue of Cormar to this remarkable woman who has touched the lives of all of us - faculty, staff and students alike - with her long hours of love, labor, and dedication.
