Th« guitar players of the Liturgical Club. President of Liturgical, Sheila Flavin. iturgica In order that our worship may be alive and meaningful it must be a true expression of the peo- ple. We experience many miracles at SHM. We perform various experiments in music v ith success and failure. What is important is that there is a hearty response from the people. We begin to become friends. This is expressed in the beautiful kiss of peace given at every Moss in which we honestly say: Peace be yours. - J (top) S. Zuniga, O. Gonzales, J. Baquera, M. candy drive At SHM there are two things that are inevitable: tuition and the Candy Drive. Each year the Drive is heralded by a roily held between the classes, each proving themselves to have the most spirit. The whole object of this frenzied activity is to sell as many cases of that luscious World ' s Finest as possible so that the winning class can take a day off from their studies to troop on down to Disneyland. Each class more than willingly sets off, standing endless hours in front of stores, wearing their loafers to a mere frazzle in hopes of selling the most candy. This year, the senior class proved their salesmanship and with their tired, aching feet grate- fully accepted first prize: a free trip to Disneyland. It ' s a senior privilege to unload the boxes of candy. Spirits run high during the condy drive. 108
