At last it has come-our day-when all the trials and hardships are forgotteng the little grievances, the petty disputes are put aside as counting nothing and we all share the joy of having stood the test, of having conquered and having achieved that which we strove to accomplish. We stand at the parting of the ways with sincerest regrets, words are too futile, too insignificant .to express the feelings we have for our dear Alma Mater and for our classmates. However, it is not the end of our journey - merely an oasis in the desert of our profession. We have yet the sandstorms of life to face, those which come suddenly, unforseen, and are treacherous in their very unexpectedness. We will meet difficulties at every turn but the calls of the needy must be answered and having been endowed with the facilities to conquer, we hope never to flinch or waver. Courage in Difficulties is imbued in our hearts and when we meet the difficulties may we strive with courage to do our best for those who call upon us, faithfully practising our profession. ' he Florence Nightengale Pledge I solemnly pledge myself before God and in the presence of this assembly to pass my life in purity and to practice my profession faithfully. I will abstain from whatever is deliterous and mischievous and will not take or knowingly administer any harmful drug. I will do all in my power to elevate the standard of my pro- fession and will hold in confidence all personal matters committed to my keeping and all family affairs coming to my knowledge in the practice of my calling. Yvith loyalty will I endeavor to aid the physician in his work and to devote myself to the welfare of those committed to my care.
