Athletes Awarded Top Honors Sacred Heart's athletes were awarded numerous honors in football, basketball, and track After four years of Irish football. Dan Hill was given a full football scholarship to the University of Nebraska at Lincoln. Mary Bennett was given a scholarship to the Southeast Community College in Fairbury. TOP: Coach Lonnie Ford presents Dan with a certificate at the annual Athletic Banquet RIGHT: Three Irish football players were named All-Conference. Dan Hill. Bill Randall, and Mike Sells. BOTTOM: The KTNC Radio Awards went to three athletes in three different categories. The football award went to Mike Sells and Dan Hill. The Basketball award was given to Dan Hill. In track the award went to John McGuire and Dan Hill.
