Irish Rebuild To A Winning Season The Sacred Heart Irish rebuilt their team to produce a fine winning season After losing many players to graduation, and acquiring a new coach in Lonnie Ford, the Irish had many open spots on the line-up. Coach Ford and his team, which used a number of underclassmen, won their first five games of the season. The Irish played some of their games in adverse weather, and still overcame the opponents.
