REFLECTIONS Dreaming days of youth Flowers filled the air Yet beneath the flowers Lay the dirt, hard and bare. Happy days of freedom, Spent beneath the sun. Yet standing alone by the shore When the day was done. Running through the fields; Laughing at the sky; The beauty in today, Yet still some would cry. And I look into the ocean I look into the sea I look into your eyes And therein.lies the key. We dream of tomorrow Reminisce of yesterday And yet we must know When there ' s nothing left to say. That what we had yesterday As special as it was Will never again be And we change what once we loved.
