This group meets after school, and different excursions are held on weekends and other days off, usually run for the whole day. The moderator is Mr. Pyzik. The members of this club meet every Tuesday in the cafeteria and at these meet¬ ings they engage in craft work that can be used for gifts when complete, and craft work that they enjoy. The members share their skills and take part in demonstrations that are given by various guest instructors. The moderator is Sr. Paula. Entertainment Club A new club this year, the Entertainment Club is a group of sophomores that joined together so that they might perform skits, and various acts, for the interest of the whole school. The group is also planning to produce several films this year. The group usually meets during Sophomore study time. The producer-director is Michael Day and Louis Riccardi is the chairman. Library Club Would you like to see what ' s been published lately in all areas of reading interests? What the press is saying in today ' s world of excitement and adventure? And participate in spreading out the good news in our school? Come to the Library Club and see how you can do all of this plus more. Interested students are .helping in organization of the new Human Development Se of the Library. Chess Club The chess club seeks to introduce the students to the subtleties and strategies of chess. Through study of the games of former champions and of their own games, the students are led to an appreciation for clear and forward-looking thought. Radio Club WSHS Radio broadcasts from Sacred Heart High School every lunchtime for students ' enjoyment. Besides enjoyment, WSHS is an asset to the school by broadcasting announcements that may be of interest to students. WSHS is staffed by a group of competent students whose goal is to provide a smooth and enjoyable broadcast every lunch time. Besides having its own collection of records and tapes, WSHS encourages students to bring in their own to be played, so as to provide a greater musical variety to our listening audience.
