' on the individual corric 1968 LOVE, UNDERSTANDING, HON¬ ESTY, AMBITION, DESIRE, PREJU¬ DICE, ACCEPTANCE, GOD —CHAOS — “What is the reality of myself?” A question which is a search for truth in everything, a learning experience. It is a beginning which never ends. Our years here enable us to ask it without emptiness or fear, for “I” am the uni¬ versal person and the core of existence. Is education a search for “self”? Perhaps —. ■ II SACRED HEART HIGH SCHOOL Kingston - Massachusetts PROLOGUE . I SENIORS. II UNDERCLASSMEN. Ill ACTIVITIES . IV SPORTS . v ADVERTISING VI in order to find myself I must go out of myself... and going there I will find myself I will become undisguised and celebrate the joy of myself and the uniqueness of each person I meet I ' m desperate to come into contact with every facet of my existence and to reach out and find its meaning bewilderment, and questions unanswered... are forgotten in the beauty and peace of a friend. Through books, friends, work and athletics I come to grips with... indifferent forces which make me a slave to myself as well as others DEDICATION We have known her as a class. And we have known her as individuals. In each encounter we found wis¬ dom, which always governed action; interest which encouraged us to seek the truth; firmness on which we could always depend; and most of all concern which bespoke her belief in us as people. To many of us, she personifies our school. Yet we feel that we have found a truly separate person. And for this reason, and many others we dedicate this book, in all simplicity, to Sister Paul Marie.
