(9 CAROL ANN THOMPSON Dorchester Carol ' s placid personage is dominated by a flicker of friendliness and cheer. A faithful member of the Resident Ensemble, her con¬ tributions to musical functions in Sacred Heart have not drifted by unnoticed. Tomato juice mellowed with a heaping dose of pepper ranks among the elite on her menu. Carol has been a boarder since the fifth grade, but her heart belongs to Beantown. And although she cannot knit, she is an avid knitter. Future plans focus on Sargent ' s College at B.U. where she will undertake studies in physical therapy. Carol Thompson DAVID TRAVERSO Plymouth David, a long-standing member of the Har- moneers, is talented both vocally and in- strumentally. His musical abilities blend congruently with his cheerful, unobtrusive personality. He is an eager and conscientious student and a selfless donor of time and en¬ ergies to school activities. David ' s aspira¬ tions focus on the teaching profession and we are confident that if he pursues them, in giving he shall reap. David Traverso MARGARET ANN WILLS Middleboro Margaret, notoriously known as Willy, is a true patriot of her endeared Middleboro. Her congenial and generous personality distinguish her as a member of the class of ' 62. She moves quietly but effectively in doing good wherever she is. She enjoys outdoor activity and water skiing always gives her a splash. Margaret plans a career as a medical secretary. Margaret Wills 29

SUSAN JEAN SHERMAN Pembroke Sue is a true daughter of Sacred Heart. Ac¬ tive in the Sodality, her scholastic pursuits have also flowered. A restrained, determined nature is her prime asset and sewing is her forte. Tsk, really! Perplexed by the labyrinth of city subways, rural life has a fan in Sue. May her aspiration to teach young children someday reveal itself an actuality. Susan Sherman SANDRA LEE SIKORSKY Pembroke Sandy is the perk, pretty, good-natured mem¬ ber of our class. She is a true sports fan; her hobby is writing letters. Still in bewilder¬ ment of the value of a math course, she never¬ theless manages the unruly x and faces bravely all unknowns. With her sincerity and congenial manner she is certain to be happy and successful in a teaching career. David Tarantino t Sandra Sikorsky DAVID FRANCIS TARANTINO Plymouth Tino, the casual satirist of the senior class, is noted for his mellow witticisms. His ultimate peeve is that burdensome chore of getting up in the morning, due to insomnia spurred by Boris Karloff ' s Thriller and Edgar Allen Poe ' s bedtime stories. A keen interest in the sciences has matured in Dave, winning him recognition at Sacred Heart. Our sincerest wishes to an exemplar of school spirit for a successful future in and following college life. 28

DOLORES JEAN THOMAS Otis AFB Dolores is our walking travel agency. Famil¬ iar with the scopes of our own country, she is also no stranger to Japan. Loyalty to her school is irrefutable, as is her keen sense of responsibility. Her covert hobby is authoring poetry; the United States Air Force is her family. Future plans include college, then teaching. Dolores Thomas TERRY MICHAEL WEAVER Otis AFB Terry is our A-l athlete. Apt in all phases of that which promulgates abounding good health, he is famous for the vehement veloc¬ ity of his legs. He is an air force and Indiana fan from way back. The perkness of some teasing girls in school is his prime peeve--the embryo of an inveterate bachelor.
