MARY M. MULLEN Hanson % Mary is Irish in temperament, talent, and tonsure; a smile further denotes her noble blood. Her interests stream into diverse channels. At home she excels in 4H activities and plays the piano. In school she was chosen prefect of the Sodality and the editor of the 1962 Corric. Her popularity and lucid qual¬ ities of leadership and service are further exemplified in the numerous class offices she held through high school. Mary plans an im¬ mediate future of pre-law studies and we are confident that wherever she ventures she will radiate the spirit of Sacred Heart. Mary Mullen JOSEPH WILLIAM MOORE Wareham Joe is poet laureate of the class of 62. As liter¬ ary editor of the Corric and Surf and Spray and as an officer in student government, Joe pos¬ sesses the qualities of an admired leader--indus- try, cooperation, willingness to help and to accept help. As a student, Joe burns the philosopher ' s candle; as a citizen, he brightens the gleam of our democratic beacon; as a friend, he deepens the glow of loyalty; as an alumnus, we know he will pass on the torch of school spirit; and as a future teacher he will light new horizons. Joseph Moore KATHLEEN HELEN O ' LEARY Medford Kathy is our songstress. Her musical talents have many times sounded through corridors of Sacred Heart. Adept at the piano, the violin, and in art, she is a devotee to that which elevates man. Kathy as an individualist can enjoy many hours alone with music, but she is always ready to answer a call of ser¬ vice. Her plans include a major in music at Boston University. Kathleen O ' Leary 23

ANNE DEVLIN MILLS Carver Anne came to S. H. H. S. in her sophomore year. She quickly won a place in the circle of friends in her class. Sewing is her hobby, and she could keep anyone in stitches. The election campaign in our junior year gave this enthusiast a jolt of patriotism. Noted for her unique coiffeurs, inquiring nature, and jovial personality, she has never failed to enliven a class and shall continue to spread vitality wheresoever she treads. Anne Mills DANIEL McMAHON Kingston Daniel McMahon KAREN FOX McLAUGHLIN Marshfield Danny is the lanquid, retiring member of our class. An easy-going manner enhances his friendly personality. Uniquely talented in this, his quick wit never fails to produce a clever and spontaneous response. He is usually quiet regarding future plans but Danny is bound to meet success. Karen will be remembered for her loquacious nature and musical attributes. Her noble clarinet has lent beauty and rhythm to fine orchestration in Sacred Heart. She prefers group discussions to routine mathematical experiences. Karen aspires to the rewarding field of psychology. With her robust deter¬ mination we are assured that she will attain any goal for which she soars. Karen McLaughlin 22
