The famed ' Hay-Ride, Ronnie ' s plush-panel truck, has won him ac¬ claim on every trail north of the Swanee. A true Sodalist, his spirit of dedication to right is frequently in evidence. Maintaining his lofty principles and affable nature, he will reach success with agility. c CAROLE ANNE GOODES Yarmouth Port Goodzy is the soft-spoken girl with a twinkle in her eye. A confirmed Cape Codder, she putts around the precious peninsula in her garish Hillman. Her unassuming, unobtrusive character has procured for her a host of friends. Cooperation has been the theme of Carole ' s life at Sacred Heart and certainly it shall warrant the materialization of her lofty ideals as she enters college life. JACQUELINE LOCKE FRANKS Cohasset Jackie is the mild-mannered member of our class. A blithe spirit and tantamount tem¬ perament are her prime assets. She excels in skiing. Sincere in her studies, her warm friendship is cherished by intimates. Butter¬ scotch sundaes and animated discussions on national problems are two of her favorite relaxations. Jackie ' s college plans are geared to the teaching profession. Jacqueline Franks PAUL JOHN GOVONI Plymouth Paul has been a vibrant and indispensable component of the class of ' 62 since kinder¬ garten days. An undeniable spirit of coopera¬ tion complimented by a geyser of enthusiasm cause him to excel in accumulating friends. His gregarious assets have proven most val¬ uable in his role in student government. His prominent musical attributes embrace both the vocal and instrumental. Participation has keynoted his life at Sacred Heart, as it will during all his college days. Paul Govoni LEE ANNE FRAZIER W ellfleet Lee came to Sacred Heart in her junior year. The piano and clarinet boast of her talents. A typical fresh-air Cape Codder, she also skims the surf on skiis. Her presence at social and school functions particularly the holiday dances and candlelight suppers graced each occasion. LOTHROP WILLIAM HEDGE Plymouth Bill, is the colloquial reference applied to the venerable nomenclature of Lothrop William Hedge. Bill is a persistent and responsible worker. His presence at Sacred Heart has never failed to render a pleasant and coopera¬ tive atmosphere--perhaps someday it will extend into the stratosphere. Avid in the intricacies of science, Bill carries over his earnestness into innumerable school and social functions. Among his awards is a citation merited for saving the life of a drowning boy. He has served faithfully in student government and is verily an exemplar of its principles. As a chemistry major, Bill plans to serve his fellowmen through science. William. Hedge JOHN EDWARD HIGGINS Plymouth Jack possesses the manifold attributes which characterize the ideal student in abundance. He has repeatedly shown zeal in the classroom, on the gym floor, and in extra-curricular activites. Faithfully he assumes his responsibility each noontime through the high school corridor, a staunch example of integrity and honor. Sacred Heart Schools have been his choice from kindergarten to graduation. The college of his choice will find in John more than just another freshman for his cooperative spirit is bound to permeate any student body. JANET MARIE LUCE Buzzards Bay Janet joined us when we were sophomores. A retiring nature enveils the school spirit which pulsates within her. Studious, indus¬ trious, and cooperative, she will always be a boast of Sacred Heart. Outdoor life is her folly, provoked by enjoyable biology classes. Her talents with animals range from hunting pheasants to bathing big dogs. Peeved by motorists who travel a snail ' s pace, we feel sure that Janet will whiz her way to success in the teaching career she plans. Janet Luce John Higgins
