ELIZABETH JOSEPHINE CODY Scituate Betsy is no stranger to Sacred Heart. Vim and vitality identify her as a spirited member of the class. A robust heart and willing hands complement her pithy personality. A gleaming black Corvair is her most cherished posses¬ sion and driving is her prominent activity. And although she swims like a porpoise, she hates to wet her hair. Betsy will thrive on spirit ' as she begins her college career in the fall. Deborah Cogghill BARBARA ELLEN CONNOLLY Hyannis Port Barbara came to us in her senior year. Her dry wit and pleasing personality spontaneously won her the hearts of her new classmates. For the first semester she could be seen hobbling down our hallowed halls. A staunch Cape Cod¬ der, Barbara maintains that confounded Yankee determination. Her good nature and sparkling brown eyes have carved a notch in her alma mater as she moves on to college life. Betsy Cody DEBORAH ANNE COGGHILL North Scituate Debbie is our Swedish wonder. Laughing, loquacious, and rarely lugubrious, she lends a splash of vitality to our class. No stranger to mischief or Bermuda, she excels in social¬ izing. Her bizarre accomplishment of driving in an open convertible through Hyannis in pounding rain will always remain moist in our memories. A diligent student and member of the National Honor Society, Debbie ' s chief goals are her academic pursuits. The campus of Trinity will be graciously enriched by Debbie ' s presence next fall. MARY ELIZABETH CONNOR Cohas set Maybeth is unassuming and sparing of words. She possesses agility in art, amiably por¬ trayed in her stack of posters and diverse works rendered throughout high school. Devotion to the elevated ideals of Sacred Heart has the awakening of her profound comprehension of human nature. Maybeth ' s sympathetic and altruistic manner is an adamant foundation for the life ' s work of teaching she aspires to embrace. Maybeth Connor JAMES PATRICK CUNNINGHAM Bridgewater Jim, the bubbling culmination of all that is spirited in American youth, entered our class in his junior year. His amiable personality harmonized spontaneously with the zest and zeal of Sacred Heart. Never timid to voice a sentiment or bellow a compliment, Jim has benevolently contributed to his school scholas¬ tically and otherwise. The establishment of the Ways and Means Committee owes itself to his unceasing efforts. We are confident that his lofty ideals shall materialize in college and shall overshadow him through his entire life. SANDRA ANNE CALLIS Scituate Sandy, often referred to as Dee, is as capable as she is cordial. Her cryptic talent is step¬ ping in holes and her pastime is pasting in the family album. School spirit and devotion to right illuminate her character. Friends will never be sparse where Sandy is involved. Her aspiration to become a private secretary will add sparkle to the business world.

JO-ANNE FERREIRA Kingston Jo-Anne is usually seen in a fleeting whir; bustle 1 ' is her middle name. She has ren¬ dered herself adept in journalism through her untiring labors on the Surf and Spray And while she maintains her exceptional scholastic capacity, Jo-Anne still retains a bubbling reservoir of fervor for all school activities. Surely her admirable accomplish¬ ments will not remain obscured in the archives of her alma mater, but shall continue to merit for her throughout college as well as her ca¬ reer life. Jo-Anne Ferreira MARY ELIZABETH FOSTER Roslindale Mary is Sacred Heart ' s personality-plus girl--small in stature, big at heart. Experi¬ enced by all her classmates is her genuine friendship. A long-time resident, she has always rendered herself a credit to her alma mater. Squinting, sparkling eyes is her identification card. Wherever laughter floats, Mary is not far away. Her leadership in the Big Sister Club and the Resident Board is a distinct contribution. Sacred Heart ' s special blessings accompany Mary in all her future plans. Mary Foster SUZANNE ELIZABETH DUTSON Pembroke Sue is our demure, bubbling blonde. Laughter predominates her poised personality. Dry wit and capricious comments render her a social asset in the class. Sue is a truly good friend. Her thoughtfulness and spirit of ser¬ vice will serve her well as she enters nursing school in the fall. t-mss ' j I Susanne Dutson
