Catherine Boyle RONALD MANUEL CARREIRA Bridgewater Ronnie, who entered our class in his soph¬ omore year, immediately inhaled the spirit which thrives in Sacred Heart. Momentous are his exhibited convictions in class debates. A true devotee to Italian spaghetti, he further exemplifies fervor in the Sodality. Our hopes for a fruitful harvest go with Ronnie as he enters Maryknoll. Sybil Bowes CATHERINE CAROL BOYLE Quincy Cathy is characterized by a curly coiffure, academic excellence, and a pulse of indi¬ vidualism. Her contributions to Sacred Heart cannot be obscured. Art, singing, basketball, and horseback riding number among her diversified talents. Cathy will long be remembered for her artistic talent through the Surf and Spray copies among our souvenirs. She is determination per¬ sonified and the argumentative stimulates this trait within her. With manifold capa¬ bilities and a vibrant personality we are confident that Cathy will continue to augment achievements scholastically, socially, and spiritually. Ronald Carreira SYBIL JANE BOWES Osterville Sybil is the sociable socialite of our class. With a taunting gleam in her blue eyes and toting an effervescent smile, she gives a lilt to every drudgery. The Sacred Heart spirit has a well-polished mirror in this bubbling font of frolic and fervor. Her in¬ comprehensible velocity in speech is amended for by a keen sense of responsibility. Nursing is Sybil ' s goal and she is bound to attain it if only she bears in mind that hos¬ pitals are situated in a Quiet Zone. 13

JAREY LEE ADAMS Marshfield Jarey Lee is personality personified. Order and responsibility are her distinguishing char¬ acteristics. Always on hand with assistance for school activities, her loyalty has been ex¬ emplified many times over. A diligent student, sports grasp her interests. She will be sorely missed by her instrumental compatriots in the school band and orchestra. ‘The future spot¬ lights on teaching after a promising college career. Jarey Lee Adams ROBERT ALDEN BRIGHAM Whitman Bob has a spirit much needed in any group. His friendliness has won him lasting friends. Mild and reserved on the exterior, his warm sense of humor penetrates always the right spot at the right moment. His record of loyalty to his class and to his school is with¬ out blemish. He is marked already as a true alumnus who will always be ready to serve. Robert Brigham PAULINE MARY ADAMS Harwich Port Pauline is truly the spirited individual which her crimson locks and darting eyes suggest, finding their vertex in a smile. Santa Claus , as she is often called, maintains the voracity, vim, and versatility necessary to all resident students. If she isn ' t talking. . . wonder why. Her unblemished record through high school won for Pauline a position on the Student Council in her senior year. Her classmates are assured that she will ford every stream until she finds her niche in the world made better because of Paulines. Pauline Adams

CARALEE CHENEY Marion Caralee entered our class in her sophomore year. Her benign personality and superior scholastic rating soon proved compatible to the statutes of Sacred Heart. A pleasing smile and a reserved air encircle this beaming red-head. Smart taste and select apparel have favored her with a tres chic appear¬ ance. A mariner at heart she spends her summers in the ruffled ocean air by Marion Harbor. Stalwartly, Caralee has never suc¬ cumbed to the perplexities of the pecuniary and has served as s-enior year treasurer in a truly executive fashion. College is her immi¬ nent challenge. Caralee Cheney JOSEPH JAMES CASEY Middleboro Joe is distinguished by a semi-circular trademark, his smile. He is an eager advo¬ cate of the culinary arts and of hockey. The perplexities of diplomacy which confront the harassed world have often been doctored by Joe in social studies classes throughout his high school career. Apathy dares not thrust its malignancy on this Democrat. His pas¬ time is matriculating his hallowed vehicle through highways and byways, and his hobby is the study of said parasite. All felicitations to our Don Kent of the radio-active future. Joseph Casey JAN CARPENTER Osterville Jan is the quiet philosopher and tranquil intelle tual of the class. A quick wit and rents envelop her placid personage. is m all of her studies, most notably m mathematics. Basketball, swimming, and horseback riding contribute to her healthy composure. To Osterville ' s oyster of pearl we wish a pleasant, profitable college career. Jan Carpenter 14
