VIRGINIA MAY STEFANI Plymouth Ginny is our all-around whiz. She is at the top of any list, whether scholastic or social. She is also a devoted gym decorator. As assistant editor of the Corric she has de¬ votedly given of her time and talents. Ginny is a true-blue friend who gives honest advice without any qualms of repercussions. She won honors for Sacred Heart by becoming a finalist in the National Scholarship Test. We are sure she ' ll be on the dean ' s list at any college. Virginia Stefani STEPHEN HOWARD SMITH Plymouth Steve, a rich bass in the boys ' Octet, has run the entire gamut of activities with us for all four years. He ' s a well known, well-liked fellow who is popular not only among his class¬ mates, but also among the undergraduates as well well. He is the outdoor type; fishing, hunting, and boating are his greatest loves. He has a yen for German, picked up at random. Steve has been a bulwark of school and class spirit throughout our brief history. Stephen Smith SARA LOU STEVERMAN Scituate Sara has become one of our finest exhibitions of class spirit. Highly individualistic though she may be, her popularity extends throughout the entire school. A long time member of the ensemble - a high soprano - she ' ll be a long time memory in the hearts of all her friends at Sacred Heart. Sometimes in a quandary over a physics or P. O. D. problem, she is a requisite to the courses she elected. Her goal to top the four year average with high senior grades changed a touch of obstinacy to determination. Sara Steverman

VIRGINIA ROSE SAVAGE Buzzards Bay Ginny is the dark slim model type who is murder on the basketball court. Her bubbly enthusiasm encompasses any school activity. Quiet during school hours, she ' s really reserved extra am¬ bition and energy for resident activities. After basketball, water skiing is the best sport in Ginny ' s book. We ' re sure of her success as a dental assistant. Virginia Savage MAUREEN ELIZABETH SHEEHAN Marshfield Mo, full of fun and individuality, is notorious for her blushing. A live wire, she is the life of the party. Efficiency and perseverance are her outstanding qualities. She always finds time to talk and is labeled our most exper¬ ienced and best reader, who possesses an unlimited vocabulary. Maureen is always a welcome participator in any activity. She comes recommended as a superb class sec¬ retary and treasurer well qualified to join the ranks of superior college freshmen. ji y r ' $ t Maureen Sheehan KATHRYN LOUISE SLYNE Plymouth Kathy is our most popular party giver, a real hostess with the mostest. Always gay and at times effervescent, she glows with the vigor of youth and a warm cheerful personality. To share this with others is her goal. She has delicate hands and a hearty nature, always ready to assist anyone. Kathy possesses a keen and practical intellect and her sincerity shines from her flashing eyes - a truly good friend. MARY THERESA VECCHIONE Cohasset Mary is a quiet girl whose middle name ought to be efficiency. Her ambition is to be a nurse, and with her exceptional talent and pleasant personality, patients should speedily recover. Mary has been a familiar figure in our library for the past four years, and as a student lib¬ rarian has helped us find the necessary re¬ search material. She has be en driving to and from Scituate in a speedy gray Rambler. Her scholastic ability has always been a point of pride with the class of ' 61. In college Mary will successfully meet the challenge to develop her many and varied talents. Mary Vecchione FERDINAND RUDOLPH THOMAS Otis Air Force Base Ferdi is one of the boys from nearby Otis. Any branch of science appeals to him but physics is his specialty. Ferdi doesn ' t mind stating his thoughts on any subject, particu¬ larly Communism. He likes to play football and basketball much to the dismay of Coach Lindberg. Because of his winning personality, Ferdi will always find friends wherever his future may lead him. Ferdinand Thomas CAROLYN ANNE WILLIAMSON King ston Carolyn, a new member at S. H. H. S. this year, is known for her quiet, neat, friendly personality. She enjoys driving but hates speed limits. Carolyn also likes to paint. She admires humility in people and practices what she admires. Carolyn started her school career at Mishannock Kindergarten, but trans¬ ferred to Kingston schools in grade school. Within a few short months of her return, we have learned that whenever we are in need of a a smile, or a helping hand, we can turn to Carolyn.
