ELEANOR MARIE MURPHY Duxbury Ellie, is friendly, quiet, and the best friend you could have. A roller-skating enthusiast, just give h.er eight wheels and some music and watch her go! Brown hair, blue eyes, petite, and wired for sound can best describe our Dux¬ bury import. On warm sunny days, she can be seen driving her Chevy through Duxbury, becom¬ ing exasperated when following drivers traveling at a snail ' s pace. The Sodality found her an ex¬ cellent member and a hard worker. Ellie, our contribution to the solution of journalism ' s pro¬ blems, is an honor student in any field and in college should make the dean ' s list. GEORGE C. MENSLAGE Scituate Everyone knows George and there exists no possible chance of mistaken identity in his case. His aptitude in French is his distinctive academic achievement. George is a bass in the Octet and is as inseparable from that group as is singing. He ' s not the quiet type, and he reminds us of that constantly. George has a heart of gold, and no favor is too big or too small to receive his generous attention. With his faithful spirit of cooperation, George will be a success in his future activities. George Menslage Thomas Moore Eleanor Murphy THOMAS EUGENE MOORE King ston Tom, our senior class president, at first meeting impresses people with his simple quiet determination, but his classmates are more thoroughly impressed with his sinserity, loyalty, and integrity of char¬ acter. Our star linguist, he excells in both Latin and French. During the past four years his tenor voice has been the mainstay of our chorus. Endowed with superior qualities of leadership, he has exercised them well as class president and head of the Student Council. Tom has many talents and has won many honors, but in the eyes of his classmates, his wonderful personality is his greatest asset. Tom ' s many laudable ambitions will be successfully realized after his matriculation at Stonehill. 22

JOSEPH JOHN McGRATH Middleboro Joe, Mr. Democrat himself, is full of surprises! Beneath that peaceful exterior dwells the soul of a regular patriot. No class has escaped his quick wit, or his earnest views. Will you ever forget Joe and the election rally of I960? From nine to three most any day of the week he can be found pushing a pencil at dear old S. H. H. S. , but during the remaining eighteen hours and on weekends his services and interests extend to Boston, Middle¬ boro and the Cape. Joe is a young man with many ambitions and ideals which he hopes to develop in college during the next four years. Joseph McGrath JUSTIN PATRICK McLAUGHLIN Mar shfield Justin is Sacred Heart ' s answer to Leonard Bernstein, Jascha Heifetz, and Richard Nixon. A man of action who has an opinion on anything, Justin watches the stock market and really makes it work for himself. He ' s always on the go and his Olds can make it from Hyannis to Kingston on a drop of gas and a prayer. His soaring tenor voice has made him a member of our celebrated Octet for three years. Deter¬ mination and energy rank high on his list of qualifications . These characteristics should be an asset to him at Stonehill College. Justin McLaughlin ROBERT JOHN MALKOSKY Bridgewater Mels is the best-dressed boy in the senior class. He is an avid popular music fan who often doubles as D. J. at the school hops. He is quiet -- usually. Dry, dryhumor is his brand and no one is exempt. A Bridge- water man, Bob will one day be famous for his Malkosky ' s Laws, a unique book on physics. Robert Malkosky 21

f Patricia O ' Connell WILLIAM FRANCIS O ' GRADY Pembroke Willy is Waterloo to all silence-in-the-hall offenders. He ' s also our favorite waterboy. His antique edition of a Plymouth, sports a body by Marshfield Sand and Gravel. Argu¬ ments are the spice of life to Bill. A demo¬ crat to the end, he stayed up ' til four a. m. to see the president-elect on November 8. Basketball is his sport and sleeping is his hobby, but college plans keep him awake. Doris Petrell PATRICIA ANN O ' CONNELL Rockland Pat is a blonde bubble of laughter, who spends her time helping Mr. Tedeschi in his grocery business. Her favorite activity is bowling and she aspires to a Paul Revens Bowl Trophy for her C. Y. O. team. If you see a glowing red face and an aqua Ford, you can be sure it ' s Pat. Math is great in its place, but Pat is still trying to place it. Bridgewater State College will have a twinkling blue-eyed addition to its campus next fall, and the teaching profession will benefit by her gay sense of humor. William O ' Grady DORIS ELIZABETH PETRELL Plymouth Dorry, a lively sparkle of gaiety and nonchal¬ ance, is a car ' s best friend. When warm, cozy weather hits the scene, waterskiis and Mercurys play important parts in her enjoyment. Although planning further education, Dorry won ' t be far from Andrea or Ann Marie, her buddies through high school. Never the shy, retiring type, she will always be envisaged in memories of dances, basketball games, parties, and everything that filled the school year with excitement. 23
