OUR FACULTY Sister M. Irenaea. . . our administrator and friend throughout the years at Sacred Heart. Her sacrifices cannot be calculated. Sister Irenaea will always find room in the hearts and memories of all of us. Sister Paul Marie. . .our principal whose interest, ideals, and challenge in the academic reached far beyond text books. She, perhaps more than anyone else has a special endearment to the senior class. No expression could adequately repay our gratitude Sister M. Noel. . .whose guidance and teaching in History and English followed us through our four years. Her untiring and efficient direction which extended to our many activities especially during our senior year earns our lasting gratitude. Sister Ida Mary. . .who has contributed so much to our scientific background. We offer our heartfelt thanks to one who shares our confidence and enthusiasm. Sister Gertrude. . .who displayed the glory of Rome to us through the Latin language besides bolstering our math. Sister Bernard Mary. . .who opened up the wide area of mathematics and the speculation of theology for us. Sister Johnette. . .through Literature and American History implanting seeds of perfect harmony within us. Sister Helen Joseph. . .master in the business field, who taught us the commercial skills with their many facets. Sister Rosalie. . .whose diligence has won for us the appreciation and metrics of both French and beautiful music. Sister Mary Cecile. . .who through first and second year Latin introduced us to the culture and rudiments of this historical tongue. Sister Nivard. . .who has patiently and efficiently shared her knowledge of music and art with us, developing our aesthetic sense and adding to our culture. Junior high specialists, Sister Mary and Sister John Francis. . .the duet which is perfecting oui youth for the rigors of high school. Sister Terence, Sister Cora Mae, and Sister Martin. . .the exhorters of better effort in the younger students. They are establishing the future. Sister Danella, Sister Mary Agatha, and Sister Miriam Therese. . .our devoted helpers through school life, generously doing so much that we might have strength for mental progress. Sister Cosma. . .our favorite nurse extraordinaire, who gently assisted us through many physical trials and afflictions. 6
